Windows Mobile to Windows Phone

In the preparation of upcoming event the Microsoft has changed its application named as Windows Mobile 6.5 to Windows Phone.

This, says Vole, is an effort to unboggle the minds of the consumer with all the “6.1″ and “6.5″ business that exists now, and which they’re afraid will get even worse when Windows Mobile 7 arrives.

The name change also “reflects the upcoming desktop operating system release where people away from their PC can have the same experience everywhere,” says Microsoft. Are you suitably un-boggled?

Twitter new look

Twitter has redesigned its home page a bit and announcing this twitter blog has stated that:

Today we’re trying a redesigned front page for folks who are new to Twitter.com. If you’re a regular around these parts, then you won’t notice the new look unless you sign out of your account. Helping people access Twitter in more relevant and useful ways upon first introduction lowers the barrier to accessing the value Twitter has to offer and presents the service more consistently with how it has evolved.

Apple awaited tablet device expected earlier 2010

After a half dozen attempts now apple has finally got the route towards its modern day reincarnation of its beloved-but-defunct Newton MessagePad.

The 10-inch, 3G-enabled tablet, akin to a jumbo iPod touch, is the latest brainchild of chief executive Steve Jobs. That distinction, as insiders will tell you, carries its share of baggage. Under the critical eye of Jobs, contours must be precise, each pixel of the interface has to match a particular vision, and there can be no fault — no matter how slight — or it’s back to the drawing board.
